Horse riding for beginners and professionals
Manetgen a San Francisco-based horse club, where anyone can learn how to ride a horse. Our USEF qualified instructors are available 7 days a week for one to one and group tuition. Our experienced staff and horses can cater for riders ranging from beginners to advanced.
We have a dedicated team of experienced coaches ready to help you reach your goals. Our instructors can help with career advice, exam preparation, portfolio building, and goal setting for those wanting to work in the industry. We also run short courses for horse owners.

Trakehner

The Trakehner horse is the oldest warmblood breed in the world, with a history spanning amost 300 years to the foundation of the main stud Trakehnen in 1732.

Oldenburg

Initially the Oldenburger was developed as a coach horse that was adaptable enough for agriculture work. The bloodlines of this breed were developed over time to accommodate the changes in society. The modern Oldenburger is bred solely for riding and competition.

Friesian

The Friesian is a horse breed developed in the Netherlands during the Middle Ages. Incredibly agile given their large size, Friesians were historically used as war horses, able to carry knights in full armor. The Friesian is an animal often noted for their flashy appearance and movement.

- Eyes are bright and intelligent
- Back is strong and shoulder is powerful and slanting
- Legs are lean, muscular and feathered

Andalusian

The Andalusian is up there with the Arabian when it comes to purity & length of bloodline. Easily the grandfather of modern horse breeds, Andalusian blood influences almost every breed known today. The roots of this breed are likely to have come from Asian influence.
